How To Find Your Employees Are Happy Or Not

Being an HR person, it’s important to know that your employees are happy or not.  Its prime responsibility of HR to make a healthy environment in the office/ workplace. Here are the few steps that you can look out for the quietly to ensure that your folks are doing well!

Smiling: A real smile always gets reflected in your eyes. While you talking to your employees, always observe their smiles. Find out if their smile natural or fake? With the smile and eyes, you would be able to measure the happiness of a person in any organization.

Reaching Workplace on Time: A satisfied employee would always love to come to work on time. If a person reaches office in time with a genuine smile, you can easily make out that they are motivated towards their work assignments and people around them.

Building Friendly Relations among Colleagues: It seems always when co-workers spend more time together; there will be good bonding which can be good for business. Good working relationships and fellowship help organizations create higher performance in the workplace.

Holidays Pattern: Employees, who have planned his/her vacations are usually happier than those who have unplanned regular holidays. If the employee’s availability is predictable and balanced with planned vacations, it is generally a sign of a happy employee, who knows when a break is needed and also eager to be back at work. A happier employee always delivers best in the organization.

Always Ready for Voluntary Activities: If your company is organizing voluntary work events or activities over and above the normal working hours, employees, who participate, are reflecting happiness with their jobs. They love to do something new and exciting by which they can feel energetic.

Preserving Office Resources: A happy employee always feel belonging to organization and help to preserve the misuse of any assets of the company either it may be daily stationary or other examples can be wastage of electricity and coffee.

Behaving Passionately: An unhappy employee cannot work with passion and energy. Passionate employees strive to do their best, are quick to alert if things are not going well and always ready with suggestions on how to make things better, they always plan and execute the things with full passion.

Full with Energy: You will find the employee with full energy; always do their best and keeps smile on the floor shop and motivate others towards the best efforts. Energetic employee always seems confident.

Good Working Relationship with Their Supervisor: If there is good bonding among employees and boss, there will be good working environment.  It is not necessary for employees to be friends with their boss but they need to have a good rapport. Employees, who have a good rapport, generally tend to get recognition and support from their manager and perform better.

A happy employee can help in creating a productive and vibrant work atmosphere in the organization. Employees, who do not display any of the above signs, need support and action from the HR to bring them into the happy zone.
